General Info
In the Mid-1990's Four Major Wisconsin Dental Groups Joined Forces to Form What is now Forward Dental. These Included: Northpark Dental Group (formerly Known As Smileage Dental Care), Northpoint Dental Group, the Wilkens Group and Family Care Dental Centers. By Late 1997 American Dental Partners of Wisconsin Had Grown to 22 Practices. Although Each Group Had Been Former Competitors in the Dental Marketplace, They Found that They Shared a Common Vision and Mutual Goals of Service Excellence. In 2000, the Practices Received Accreditation From the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare -- a Nationally Recognized Achievement of Excellence in Care. The Final Task that Remained Was to Develop a Singular Identity for the Group that Captured the Essence of Each Practice While Focusing on the Unifying Mission. Forward Dental's New Identity Was Announced in March of 2005. The Name "Forward" Was Selected for the Group for a Variety of Reasons. With 24 Locations Across Wi sconsin (a New Practice Was Opened in January of '05), Using the State's Motto ("Forward") Reflected the Size, Scope and Vision of the Group. It Also Incorporates the Long-standing Vision of the Doctor Group, Which is to Be a Thriving, Forward-thinking and Leading Dental Group Practice, in a Strong and Mutually Beneficial Partnership.
