      Being a patient that has numerous auto immune deficiency problems and medications and had seen several eye specialists in the area, never getting what I felt was accurate care. Contacted Dr. Eichenbaum and had more testing and explanation than any physician yet. His staff and his excellent caring and compassionate service is the best in WNC, Eastern TN, and North GA. Would recommend him to anyone needing speciality eye care or even routine care. His knowledge and years of experience combined exceed any of those others combined in the entire area. 100% satisfied.

      We were visiting in the Murphy, NC area. Day 2 after our arrival, and on the weekend, my husband suddenly experienced black floaters and flashes in one of his eyes. After speaking with our family Opthomologist in Texas he was advised to see a local Opthamologist ASAP. Mr. husband decided to contact Dr. Eichenbaum's office on Sunday to leave a message, but Dr. Eichenbaum answered his phone and spoke with my husband directing him to come to his office first thing Monday morning. Dr. Eichenbaum found a torn retina, arranged for laser surgery 2 days later and then a follow-up appt. Dr. Eichenbaum was very thorough in his examination, explained the risks, but was also optimistic that husband's surgery would be successful. It has been 5 months and no further problems. Dr. Eichenbaum's staff was very professional and friendly too. A caring doctor that will even answer his phone and talk to patients on a Sunday. WOW! .
