      Jackie's career in the jewelry business began in 1978 wrapping packages of scrap gold and shipping them to a refinery. From there she worked for the new store named Zack's Jewelry and eventually moved to Naperville in 1980. Through the first ten years in Naperville it was hands on learning on every aspect of the business from the bottom up, along with taking educational training classes from the Gemological Institute of America. Custome designs started with sketches and waxes. The new custom designing has moved from manual custom creations to digital custom creations where with the advent of Matrix Custom CAD design we can now create anything imaginable. Soon she began developing loyal repeat clients, which eventually would become hundreds and now thousands of personal relationships with the residents of the community. She became the Store Manager in 1985 and in 1995 met her present husband Kevin, who with over 25 years of sales management, joined her to form the management team at Zack's. The owner of Zack's developed a serious illness and decided to quickly close the store in 2004 with a quick sale. Jackie and Kevin developed a plan of owning the store themselves in the same location after Zack's quickly closed. Time was of the essence to get a new business plan together and a new store design and a new fresh approach while utilizing their skills, experience and relationships, and to move ahead and into the future. They decided that a new name would be appropriate for a new beginning, but to always nurture and maintain the longstanding relationships within the community they built while running Zack's Jewelry. "The Diamond Gallery of Naperville The experience of being the Diamond Buyers, Store Managers and Diamond and Fashion Specialists, with over 45 years of combined expertise between the two, is unsurpassed in the area. Our staff goes through extensive "yearly" training on product knowledge and industry news to offer our customers the best experience possible. Each staff member has certified degrees in diamonds and in color gemstones, and we ONLY sell laboratory graded and certified diamonds from the best diamond laboratories in the world. We have a Guild Gemologist and a Graduate Gemologist on staff. All repairs are done in house with our two Certified Bench Jewelers. Custom design is our specialty and we have the most advanced digital design system in the entire area for your convenience at surprisingly affordable prices and with a quick turnaround. ( See the Custom Design Section. ) Our goal is to provide the best possible jewelry experience with quality unique jewelry products that have exceptional value. It is also our desire to give "Exceptional Customer Service" exactly the way we would want to be treated ourselves. We are part of the community, and we live, shop, go to church, and work here. We also believe our business has passed the test of time even after a tough economy which found us all facing many challenges.
