The Bariatric Treatment Center at Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) utilizes a multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of obesity. We offer both surgical and non-surgical treatment options for weight loss. Surgical Treatment Options include open and laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, as well as the Lap-Band® adjustable laparoscopic gastric banding procedure. Our Medical Weight Management program offers non-surgical treatment of obesity through physician* consultation including an evaluation of contributing health factors, nutritional counseling, behavioral education and consultation with our exercise specialist. Medications for weight loss may be utilized when appropriate. Regardless of the approach you choose, our program offers personalized care to help you succeed in your weight loss goals within a supportive environment.
