They were able to come out and take a look the same Monday and called with a quote. Because the quote was so reasonable, I engaged Craftsman Masonry and they did the job--replace the crumbling chimney crown with new flues--on Tuesday. It looks gorgeous and he inspected the rest of the chimney brick-work and assured me that it was in good condition and needed no work (Whew!). There was a little bobble at the end (having to do with the co-ax cable that was tangled up in an antenna that they removed), which Steve handled professionally and graciously.
