As a former translator in Europe for German and French, I always thought that a wedding ceremony should be as unique as the couple about to be married, and I felt I could write something from the heart that would describe that special relationship in a more personal way while including the basics of a traditional ceremony. Now I am a Harvard-educated non-denominational minister who composes unique poetic wedding ceremonies to reflect each couple's relationship, love story, and belief system. I'll use quotes from scripture, poetry, literature, or your favorite love song to paint a verbal picture of your love for one another. No two couples are alike, and that's why I enjoy getting to know you at a complimentary consultation to be able to write a ceremony that tells your story in a way that works well with the overall theme of your wedding. Couples marrying for the second (or third) time are welcomed, as are same-sex couples, as true love comes in different seasons and in many different forms. It's the calling of one soul to another. Ceremonies range from 15 minutes to 45 minutes and can include your children, readings from your close friends or family members, unity candle or sand ceremonies, and any other special touches you'd like. Fee pricing is between $175-$400, and all net proceeds are donated to a variety of animal rescue organizations.
