Working with Corey was such a dream! From start to finish, he was so professional and did such an amazing job! He was extremely organized and had our dance floor packed all night long with people dancing and having a blast. He knew exactly what to do and when to do it which helped our night run so smooth. We could not keep track of how many people told us how much fun they had at our reception which had a big part to do with how Corey ran the show. Corey was absolutely fantastic! My husband and I were are both young and weren't very sure about how anything was suppossed to be. Corey came to our house and helped us every step of the way. He not only was very helpful with picking music, but he went through the whole reception with us and helped us determine our timeline and make sure everything went as smooth as possible. He talked to our caterer and photographer and made sure everything was coordinated between everyone involved. I didn't have to worry about anything during the ceremony because he let us know when things needed to be done but at the same time allowed us to do everything at our leasure. I highly recommend the Art of Sound/ Disc Jockey, Corey took the time to listen to us as a couple and played the music that we wanted to here at our Wedding. because the music fit our style and catered to our guests the DANCE floor was packed all night. it was so much fun that our friends & family paid for 2 more hours of music. We had Corey as our DJ back in the Fall of '08. He was referred to us by a friend who had used him a few years back. He provided music for our ceremony as well as for the reception. His knowledge of weddings and brides made this day sooo perfect. He worked so thoroughly with us making sure the smallest of details was not forgotten. The night was filled with elegance and also down-right fun. If you are looking for one of the best DJ's I have seen at mine or any of my past friend's weddings, you should really check him out.

To any couples that may be the market for a DJ on thier wedding, let me just say that there is no one else except The Art of Sound with Corey Gilmer. Our wedding reception was insane!!! We presented Corey with they type of music we wanted that ranged from Latin, to Sicilian, to a mix of old, new, and traditional. He was able to deliver exactly that and more for us! The dance floor was packed the entire night!!! That's what makes for an awesome wedding reception!! He was proffessional yet down to earth,very charismatic, and really can read the crowd, to move from song to song, and was great with announcements and reminders that needed to be made throughout the evening. i.eCorey was just great to work with from start to finish. He came to our house for the both the initial meeting and the meeting about 4 weeks before the wedding, which made it easy while we were so busy. He was very well prepared for both meetings and really made us feel like we were in good hands. He has a huge amount of music electronically, but also brings a back up system AND CDs to his events ("Just in case"). He took our suggestions and gave us his own feedback about music and the order of the reception. He wanted the wedding to be an expression of our style, while still keeping people on the dance floor, having fun!
