- BotoxA Botox® treatment is a simple, non-surgical procedure to relax the muscles that cause frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet, and lipstick lines around the mouth. Wrinkles are smoothed for three to six months. Botox® can also be used for an eyebrow lift if there is no excessive eyelid skin.
- Liposuction
- Lip AugmentationAs skin ages, its natural volume diminishes. Wrinkles and folds form. Restylane® and Juvéderm™ are safe and natural cosmetic dermal fillers that restore volume and fullness. They are also used for lip augmentation and under-eye shadows. Both are made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that adds volume and hydration. One treatment takes about 30 minutes with results lasting for 6 months to 1 year.
- Cosmetic DermatologyAfter moving back to New Iberia in 2001, she opened a solo practice, Iberia Dermatology. She is board-certified, with expertise in adult and pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. As a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, she frequently attends continuing medical education seminars to keep abreast of the latest developments in dermatology.
- Skin CancerSkin cancer is the most prevalent of all cancers. More than one million Americans develop skin cancer every year. Excessive exposure to sunlight (including tanning) is the main cause of skin cancer, especially when sunburns and blisters occur. Less important risk factors include family history, arsenic or repeated x-ray exposure, and scars from burns. Fair-skinned people who sunburn easily are at particularly high risk for skin cancer. Dr. Patout has extensive training in both the diagnosis and surgical treatment of skin cancers.

- EczemaEczema is a general term encompassing various inflamed skin conditions. One of the most common forms of eczema is atopic dermatitis. Approximately 10-20% of the population is affected by this chronic, relapsing, and very itchy rash at some point during childhood. Fortunately, many children with eczema find that the disease clears and often disappears with age.
- LesionsA Beta Lift is a state of the art beta hydroxy acid peel that has redefined the traditional superficial peel. It penetrates skin follicles, and is used primarily to reduce acne lesions, uneven pigmentation and enlarged pores. It exfoliates dead and dull cells from the skin surface causing a very fine, mild peel over approximately 3 to 5 days. It can be used to refresh skin tone and texture every 4 to 6 weeks and is more effective than microdermabrasion.
