Very professional and courteous. They don't try to sell you extra stuff and they helped me prioritize what I needed.

They quoted me 230 for replacement of an alternator labor included. Then they changed to a more expensive one without checking with me first. The new part itself was over 200. I called Napa and the part was only 144. When I called in asking for explanation, the manager was rude and threatened to put in the old alternator. I cannot find a worse shop.

Stay Away!

It took five hours to get tires aligned. Thats how long it to get the part the told me they had already. Terrible service. They lost a customer today.

This place is terrible. I took...

This place is terrible. I took my car in there once for service and it seemed like every month, if not every couple of weeks I had to go back for something. This last time they replaced my fuel pump, the very same day my car stopped working. I took it right back in and they said it wasn't fuel related but that it was the egr valve. I got tired of constantly fixing my car so I took it to a different mechanic. Come to find out it isn't the egr valve at all, they lied. But that it is my fuel pump still and the new mechanic said that they siliconed my fuel pump on, come to find out gasoline breaks down silicone and now there is silicone all inside my gas tank. So they have lying about my car this whole time and won't fix what they messed up. Terrible place to take your vehicle and they all lie. I can't believe they call themselves professionals. I will be taking action, this is ridiculous.

This place is very reasonable ...

This place is very reasonable in their pricing, and their staff is very helpful and friendly. I originally heard about Mike's from one of my best friends. Nothing works better than word of mouth. My previous car was a no-longer-produced import, and parts were normally hard to find and expensive. They were nice enough to say "Here's the part number and name. It'll be cheaper for you to order online and then we'll just charge you for the labor to put it in." Much better than having to order it and both them and me being charged a fortune.

I also feel that I should point out that I'm a woman, and am not very knowledgeable about cars. This often means that I'm concerned with getting scammed. I have never had that concern with this shop. They have always been fair and understanding, explaining all the work and why and never trying to do unnecessary upsells. As long as I'm in Norman, I won't go anywhere else.

Bought tires there once, thoug...

Bought tires there once, thought the guy was friendly but it took forever for him to finish with the person in front of me. He just kept talking to the guy for 20 min. My car overheats a month later, so I take it in, leave it overnight. They charge me $300 for a plastic fan assembly on a 96 Saturn, + $300 labor. A full $600 for a small plastic fan, and then the car overheats anyway one week later and the water pump breaks. To make it worse, when I'm waiting to pay the bill, the counter guy is on the phone with his wife having a discussion about some family problem for at least 15 minutes (I was needing to get to work). He finally gets off the phone and says, "that's life happening", then I get the giant bill that they never gave me an estimate for. I would never use my work phone to sort out personal problems while a customer waits. Rude, overpriced, and I feel totally ripped off. I'll never go back, and I tell other people to never go there.
