- FlooringA two-story retail building that flanks an 18,000 SF courtyard featuring a mature stand of oak trees. Balconies and broad exterior stairs give beautiful views of the courtyard and the activities held there by Oakway Center retailers. The building has a central, glazed, full-height gallery that allows shoppers to move easily between shops. Special attention was given to the building’s details: towers with weathervanes, precast concrete, custom flooring, and exterior lighting sconces.
- FramingStructural framing going up on Oakway Hyatt Place (Eugene OR) as the hotel begins to take shape above the 300+ space parking garage. Crews have reopened the main access drive near Oakway Center’s newest building, increasing convenience to all the great shopping at Eugene’s premier retail spot.
- FireplacesWithin the hotel, the main lobby has 20-foot-tall ceilings at the reception desk, a large fitness center, an indoor pool located on the fifth floor and meeting rooms. In addition, the hotel’s public spaces include an indoor bar with a fireplace and a dramatic rooftop plaza named The Skydeck open to the west for sunsets and views of the coastal range.
- New ConstructionWe like to say that there is “no commercial project too small” for the Chambers Construction Small Projects Division, and this really is true. Projects have included tenant improvements for office and retail expansions or reconfigurations, medical office rehabilitations and renovations, customer service center remodels, commercial kitchen installations and renovations, industrial retrofits and building repairs, new construction of smaller structures and more.
- SidingThe process of replacing the roof and building siding has begun at the Eugene YMCA tennis complex. Crews are enjoying clear weather as they prepare the south gable end of the building for new panels.

- MasonryThe ground level retail space added to Oakway Center’s upscale shopping venue created a new “street-like” shopping experience to complement the center’s courtyard to the east. Precast panels with a masonry/brick look surround the parking levels to help the huge structure blend in with the existing character of Oakway Center.
