My husband and I went in to look at spas. We were sent to the corner of the store and told someone would be with us shortly. A sales guy did come into the area following another family who was clearly not interested. He never acknowledged us or called any other sale person to assist us. We even stood by the particular spa we were wanting for some time. We will take our business elsewhere.

I called to order a hot tub cover replacement. They took my order and i added a lift and delivery . Nearly 900.00 but the gal had to have the manager approve it and give me a price. He was not in and she said she would have him call me the next day . I waited but got no call. so I called back. He retook the order but told me he was busy and would have to put the order into the computer to produce an SKU number to be able to give me an exact price. but he was in no hurry as he had no intention of ordering it for another 4 weeks as he wanted to order several at one time to save on fright. well, a week went by and he never called me back with a firm price or to get my credit card information. I finally gave up and called Spa Mate and they took my order for a better cover less money and lift and it will be delivered in 2 weeks. and it is custom made.

Phenomenal staff! Jessica, a cashier, was very helpful finding the correct chemicals I needed to get my hot tub up and running smoothly. The water is clear and clean. Didn't push chemicals that I didn't need and in fact told me specifically what I wouldn't need to help save me some money as there are so many chemicals it can become overwhelming and quite expensive if you don't know what you're looking for. I will definitely be back.

Just needed a paper filter for my hot tub. Seems like a simple thing, right? I was sent to far back corner to "Parts and Service." One guy asked what I needed. When I told him, the other guy, who also looked like an owner or manager, without looking up, said, "We don't have that." Never looked at me once. Just, "We don't have that." IT'S A POOL AND SPA STORE! My prediction? Out of business by 2018, and they deserve it.

Had a great experience! Was concerned after reading some of the reviews but found the staff to be VERY helpful. I have an above ground pool and didn't know if it needed to be completely replaced or just a new liner and motor. Took photos in and Walter in Parts and Service was very helpful and knowledgeable. He could have pushed a whole new pool (even though I didn't need it), but helped me with all the items I did need and got installation setup for me. Thnx Walter! Only thing I was not thrilled with was the pool liner selection, they only had a few 30 mil options, but Walter said the one I went with looks really nice when installed - I will see tomorrow when the crew puts it in! FYI - cost of liner installation is CONSIDERABLY more if you have a deck around the pool! Understandable with the extra work involved, but just be prepared for the quote!

Family Leisure lost my potential business due to their unwillingness to match prices on identical furniture pieces at another local retailer and for showing complete inflexibility in their delivery schedule. This is not a customer friendly store. I spoke with both Holley and Dave regarding the above and neither were even remotely willing to stand by their "lowest prices" claims or meet me halfway on a delivery schedule that didn't require me taking time off work. (Be warned - they only deliver on week days when most of you, like me, are working. They do not deliver on weekends and, according to Holley, are finished with their deliveries by 4pm M-F.) I will not be returning to this store - not like I don't have dozens of other options. I totally agree with other reviewers (recent and going back as far as 3 years ago) that the staff are quite rude and unprofessional.

Very poor service. Lack of knowledge about their pools which is a primary sales point for them. Everything in there seemed extremely over priced.

We recently purchased a spa from them and everything went great. We could not be more satisfied. The staff was friendly, great selection, great price and even better customer service. I recommend them highly.

Not holding true to their ads on tv...says a sale is going on and talking with DOC for weeks. Went in today to buy said pool table , different "sales Prices" much higher at the store then said TV ad. ...not going back

We recently made a purchase but were unhappy with how it looked in our outdoor space. Wanted to exchange it but would have to pay 15% equaling over $300. We will not be returning.

We have called and also walked into the store for information regarding parts and service. Each time we have been treated with rude service / parts people. They don't seem to care a bit if they help you or not. We were told to leave our number and someone would call back - NOT. Had to call back and then got cut off by the guy saying I won't be able to get a price until tomorrow. You would think they have some idea of cost since it's a typical 2 HP motor. Oh well, we've learned our lesson. three times of being treated the same - must be a store wide attitude!

Awesome showroom, great selection, wonderful service. Very professional sales staff....if you are looking for patio furniture forget about Lowe's or Home Depot and go to Family Leisure!

I recently purchased a Britton pool table at the Family Leisure store in Olathe. Gary, the salesperson, knew the various tables extremely well. The table was delivered and installed within a couple of days by Michael Meade and his dad. The Meade installation team did an outstanding job!! They were very detailed and answered all of the questions that I had. I would highly recommend Gary and the Meade installation team.

I received great customer service at Family Leisure once again. I have have been shopping for hot tubs for a while and looked everywhere in town and online. Last week I went into see "The worlds biggest hot tub sale" expecting to see the same old thing. Well I was so impressed that I bought an Artesian hot tub that day. It was delivered and installed as scheduled and the delivery crew even had to do some extra work because I was not properly prepared. They helped me out of a big jam. I love my new tub! I also have 2 friends that have hot tubs from Family Leisure and they say the service has been great and they use their tubs all the time. I would tell everyone to plan on Familly Leisure to be your last stop while shopping hot tubs because they have the best stuff at the best price. I plan on going back to get some patio furniture this weekend because they have great deals on that now too!!!

Purchased a complete patio set last year from Family Leisure. Included table, chairs, cushions and an umbrella. Just yesterday, slightly more than a year after purchasing the set, we noticed the material on the umbrella was literally disintegrating....as in holes forming at the top. Called Family Leisure and was told they would not replace it and that the best they could do was a 25% discount towards a replacement purchase?! It's barely a year old, falling apart and they won't replace it?



It's unfortunate when companies do not stand behind the product they sell. The table, etc. have been fine, but the true test of the customer service and intent of a company is when there's an issue with a product they've sold. In this case.....the case of a mere $200+ umbrella, instead of making things right, they ran the other direction. That's all I need to know about them and all you should know as well.. As the saying goes, "a satisfied customer will tell 2 or 3 people, while an upset customer will tell 10".

Bought a pool May 1st, scheduled by as soon as I was ready, installer Mr. Tays was great! We were swimming Monday. Wish it was going to be nice this weekend! The experience was a great one. I would recommend to all!

Cannot believe this place is still in business. They will tell you anything you want to hear to make a sale. The installers are a joke, some of the most unreliable people I have ever met. If my pool is ever installed correctly l will never step foot in their doors again. They continue to make promises they cannot keep. When I asked for the person in charge I was ignored several times, I am still trying to reach the owner. I would advise anyone looking for good prices and decent customer service to look ANYWHERE ELSE.

Shopped all over town this weekend. Family Leisure had best selection and best prices. Our salesperson was very helpful. He gave us lots of good information! We will go back to this store and recommend to our friends.

I didn't really know what to expect from Family Leisure when we first went there. We had been shopping for hot tubs for a long time and had been everywhere in town and online. The STORE IS UNREAL and the stuff was too. There we found a great hot tub with more than 50 jets and also ended up buying patio furniture AND a swing set for around the SAME PRICE as just the other hot tub we found. David was very helpful. We will be back to see him for our basketball hoop and other toys:)

We went in to look at some pools for this summer and couldn't believe all the cool patio furniture and other stuff they had. We ended up buying a pool, with deck furniture (that was really cheap) and a few Husker Nation things for the basement (They had really unique pictures and banners). It did take about 5 miutes to ge waited on because they didn't seem to have enough sales people. Overall, we went to get a pool and found really great deals on the other stuff!
