We had a terrible experience on Valentine’s Day. We made our reservation 2 weeks in advance for a party of two. When we arrived, and after a short wait, we were seated in a large room that accommodated 9 larger tables. Seven of the nine tables were occupied with families, all with small children. Nothing against children, having 7 grandchildren of our own, however we were hoping for a relaxing, quiet and romantic evening. It was so loud we could hardly hear each other speak. There was a table next to us with two children who were allowed to play and wrestle on the floor next to our table while both parents sat on their phones. When the boy got hurt, he had a temper tantrum screaming at the top of his lungs!! Why would you seat a couple in a room full of families with small children on Valentine’s Day??? I blame management. It’s great that you have an area that can accommodate families but you certainly don’t put a couple in the midst of all that, especially on a special occasion. We were not last minute walk-ins, we had made our reservation well in advance and should have been treated with more respect. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants for special occasions but on this last visit we felt like we were at a Denny’s. The food was good as was our waiter. This restaurant is simply the best Italian dining you'll experience locally. It is a private, almost intimate atmosphere with perfect customer service. Everything from timing of beverages, appetizers to the meal being served was perfect! The food is superb!!! Everything I have ever ordered has seemed to be the best I have ever had. It has an elegant, classy Italian theme and it is fitting for buisness, just as it is perfection for romance. Squeeky clean throughout, this is hands down my favorite place for "special" occassions.
