PHOENIX, AZ ...WDC on 4550 Thomas Rd.



I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours.... I sat in the chair reading magazines for another 45 minutes. I needed to have two replacement fillings put in and a six-month cleaning as usual. My dentist proceeds to tell me that he needs to LEAVE because he has "somewhere he needs to go" so another late-shift dentist would take his spot as my dentist.



Fine.... I dealt with it... that's what took the additional 30 minutes to review my chart and my xrays. The dentist's little assistant was no where to be found so he went ahead with taking out the filling without her.... he left the suction tube in my mouth and I was half-gagging on it the whole time in fear I would choke on it!



He then picks my teeth to remove plaque and has another young assistant "clean my teeth". He specifically asked her to POLISH and FLOSS my teeth. She dabbed on polish and irradically began to "polish" my teeth. It was like someone who had never handled a floor polishing machine! It was ALL OVER the place and it hit my tongue, teeth, and lips too many times that it was just unbearable. Polish was all over my black sweater. I asked her how long she had been doing this and she replied, "about 3 months........... just 3 months! The dentist never came back to review her work or check my gums and determine levels (1-5). I was so disgusted by this office that I called their regional call center in Orange County. They gave me the direct phone number of Patient Relations.

This place is packed with patients, untrained staff, they speak Spanish most of the time and while you are with the dentist which is very unprofessional, and they hand their work off to whomever is there without making sure their patients receive the quality dental care they deserve.
