General Info
Welcome to Pampered Children Daycare Hi, my name is Diane. Together with my husband, Roger, we run Pampered Children Daycare. I used to have assistants but as the economy got worse my husband was out of work, so I had him help me. Everyone loves Roger and he knows how and what we do here. He has been working with me for 4 years and he can run the Daycare. He is very good at what he does. All of my parents, past and present, love Roger as well do the kids. He is a jokester, and he makes them laugh. He loves the children. They think of us as Grandparents. We have been open for 13 years and we wouldnt change a thing. We love the children and what we teach them. When I first began the Daycare, I started with 3 infants and I am licensed with DCF. I remember calling my mom and asking her what have I got myself into?" Well I made it through, and in watching the children grow and learn I became more and more interested into what I could offer them by teaching through play. I wanted to teach similar to Montesorri, so I started taking classes so I could expand and hire an assistant to help. I earned my degree in Early Childhood, Health and Safety, Infant and Toddlers, After School Program, and Problem Solving for Toddlers. At three months of age, I started to teach Infants to become more independent during their floor time or where ever they were: high chair, swing, etc. I made a small program for them, and wow it blossomed. They were learning so quickly. They benefitted from this program as they became older. Roger and I have learned so much from going to Seminars for Infant/Toddlers. There is a lot to learn. Your infant is very aware of their surroundings. They just need a little help in guided learning. Our backyard is fenced in and we have many toys for the children, as well as a playset having picnics during the summer in the backyard. I also teach Pre-School 3 days a week and the children are Kindergarten ready. We teach the children English and Spanish, how to read a clock, manners, and proper ways to share with others. We provide nutritious meals, and are allergy friendly. We also do physical activities with the children to ensure stimulation in their growth and wellbeing. Rates: $195/week for One Child - $325/week for 2 children
