I called several machine shops before choosing to go to McKenzie's machine shop.

That was 18 yrs ago. The man was honest and gave honest advice. He charged me the same as he quoted which was 50 dollars less than other shops in the area. He was very professional. I had a perfect experience and have gone back several times over the past 18 yrs. I would recommend McKenzie's machine shop to everyone. This shop is great and if they weren't they wouldn't be around and running still;right? Makes sense to go there .

Todd does good work and is knowledgeable but he overcharged me for the services that I recieved. He quoted me for a 8 valve Guide replacement and seat cut for the valves. I had mistaken and my head I was bringing g in was actually on four guides. When it came time to pay, he wouldn't recognize that the quote didn't match the services rendered and made me pay for 8 valves instead of just the four. I tried to compromise with him and find a solution to this discrepancy but he refused to come down on price and ultimately I had to pay him to get my parts back. So he is technically skilled but horrible as a business owner. I will never bring him any more work nor will I refer him to anyone because of his attitude and refusal to acknowledge that his price was not equivalent to work done. Do not go here unless you want to get ripped off.
