I went to this Pep Boys for an oil change, an air leak on my left rear tire and a tread wear problem on the right front tire. They started work on my car immediately while I browsed the store. After about half an hour, The service writer came into the store where I was browsing and told me my air filter was dirty and needed replacing. I told him to go ahead and replace it so I wouldn't have to do it later. So he walks back to the parts dept. Supposedly to get an air filter for my car. After an hour and a half they called me to the counter and said my car was finished. They said they couldn't find the air leak on the left rear tire and said the wheel was probably defective. Well that tire was replaced by them back in August of 2013 and has had that small leak ever since. So I asked them about the right front tire with the outer edge wear pattern and they said they balanced and rotated the tires. So I thought my car was finished. I paid the bill and started driving home. Immediately I notice the steering wheel was offset to the right to about 2 o'clock. Before they worked on it the steering wheel was at 11:30. Now the car pulls to the left when it went straight before. I'm not sure if they altered my steering alignment, The way the steering wheel is now 30 degrees to the right, I'm guessing they did since they only rotated the rear tires. Two days later I was checking the engine fluids and decided to check the air filter since they charged me for replacing it. WELL GUESS WHAT! They didn't replace the air filter. After being a loyal customer for over 20 years, I will no longer be doing business with PepBoys.
