      Very professional and the vets know their stuff! Of course the fee's get you, but they are comparable to other offices. 2 of the vets have years of experience in the valley. This is the place to go for you pets.

      Dr. McEwen is absolutely the BEST! He fixed what my previous veterinarian in Lancaser messed up on my old cat. Now she is happy, eating and her thyroid is reading where it should. Plus, the lazer treatment is great for her arthritis...she is holding her tail high and playing kick ball again. Finding this hospital is a blessing as the doctor takes the time to explain everything. The prices are also fair, but most important...the treatment of my cat is excellent.

      We are centrally located between Lancaster, Palmdale and Quartz Hill, just west of the 14 freeway on Ave. N. The practice, purchased by Dr. Jim Nyholt in 1980, Schumann Animal Hospital became Antelope Valley Animal Hospital. Along with partner Dr. David Gantenbein and associate Dr. Michael Siegel our friendly staff is here to serve you and your pets.
