Best loving,caring, clinic.

This clinic is truly the kindest most caring place I have experienced. They took great care of my first cat & now my second cat. They are kind, sweet, very thorough, all experts & the staff is too. When meeting the vets, they treat you like family. I can only recommend this clinic to everyone. The fees are also fair. This place is honest & caring. They call you to follow up & never leave you hanging. Great care.

I was horrified to hear my friend's cat was misdiagnosed!! Not only did their family pet cat have an unnecessary painful surgery; The clinic is not wanting or willing to address some important issues with this trusting and caring family.

If you care and love your animal seek treatment elsewhere;I would NOT recommend this clinic!!

Would recommend and will go back if needed. I worked at an ER vet clinic for 4 years. In that time I witnessed expensive care and a high price tag just to walk in the door. This is not true of Animal Emergency and Specialty Center. I took my 7 year old Chihuahua there because she was not breathing right. The staff came to assist immediately. She was stable and the vet on staff made no requests for more expensive testing and did not try to talk me into un-needed tests. If I ever need emergency care for my pets again I will go back to this hospital! A++++ in my book!!! Thanks!!!

Wonderful Care!

When our vet recommended we drive from Burlington CT to Yonkers NY IMMEDIATELY with my mom's dog, we were a bit surprised. But, as soon as we walked into ASC, we understood why. With a ruptured disk in her back, April was in rough shape and unable to walk. After an MRI and emergency surgery only a few hours after arrival, she was walking once again. After a few days of TLC at ASC and a few weeks laying low at home, April is back to her old self again. When we went back for our follow-up visit, April was wagging her tail and happy to see her friends at ASC. Since she is usually not a vet friendly dog, this showed us so much - ASC treated her well and with love. Not only did they fix her, but they really CARED for her. During the whole ordeal, they kept us informed of her progress and her prognosis. My mom & dad have their companion back and I am not sure, without ASC, that it would have happened. Dr. Joseph and his staff are true professionals and I won't ever hesitate to make that trip from CT to NY if we ever need their services. Well worth it.

This ER is very very expensive, and the staff's not that great. I took a Great Dane in with a torn toenail and they wanted to do bloodwork! I just wanted the nail trimmed so it wouldn't get further damage, and it took almost 2 hours. They really argued with me about the bloodwork - I refused. That bloodwork would have cost $1,000 or so.

Go to the ER in Castle Rock, the staff is more experienced, kinder, and the prices are much better.

Animal Emergency and Specialty Center in Parker, Colorado

Animal Emergency and Specialty Center literally saved my English Bulldog's life. I rushed my dog to their facility from a well known pet store chain - grooming department. Lacy had aspirated water during her bath. When I picked her up -- she was struggling to breathe and her tongue was blue! Lacy had to be intubated, placed on a ventilator and have a tracheotomy from the aspiration of water into her lungs. This fantastic staff worked tirelessly -- day shifts and night shifts for 5 straight days to save my dog's life. Every single person employed by this facility should be commended for their dedication, committment and expertise to their field. I cannot express enough how thankful I am to have these fantastic doctors, veternarian technicians and office administrators in my Lacy's life. Thank you so very much to everyone at Animal Emergency and Specialty Center!

Saved our dog's life

Our little King Charles was nearly killed by a coyote when let out just before dawn. We had thought our fenced property was coyote proof. The Parker Animal Emergency & Specialty Center was the only place open in our area at 05:30 AM. Kaile had multiple head wounds, ripped open belly with a lacerated liver and multiple intestine punctures. She wasn't given much of a chance but we elected to try and save her. All of the vets, assistants and personnel couldn't have been more helpful. Dr. Breshears did the surgery and was really great to work with. After about 30 days in and out of the hospital we had her back for good. She has had no ill effects and still thinks she's a Pit Bull.If anybody can handle an animal emergency in a first class manner these vets can.Burt Carlson

Diagnosed Auto-Immune Disease

AESC was able to diagnose my dog when other vets could not. She has an auto-immune disease that left her unable to walk. They have worked to figure out the right combination of drugs that have her back on her feet and enjoying life again. She also had to have several tumors removed and they took great care of her. Every member of the staff loves her and shows it when I bring her in. Because of her condition she cannot go to a regular kennel so on the rare occasions when we absolutely need a place to kennel her, they board immune-mediated animals which is a huge relief to us. We know that there is someone on duty 24 hours a day, unlike regular kennels, and if she needs treatment she is in the right place.

Animal Urgent Care in Parker Co

Hi.I would like to tell anyone who loves their pets, immensely, that Animal Urgent Care is the place to go, for emergencies! I have to dogs...both w/ their share of emergencies and health issues....all hours of the night. The staff at this facility are always, kind-caring- and very loving not only to the precious creatures we have, but to us humans as well. They tend to the animals needs as well as tend to the people. I find all the doctors there most awesome. Special mention for Dr. Rosenberg, and Dr. Breshears, who have tended to both my animals, and one w/ an extensive surgery. Today, with shared knowledge, expertise, mixed with compassion, my girls are going great~! I first thank God for all good things..... this care faciltiy it a blessing. I encourage anyone in need of care, rest assured, you are going to a good place for your precious animals. Best Regards.... Diane

Reina - Miracle Dog

Reina has been a patient at AESC for over 3 years. These people have saved her life many times. She has an Autoimmune condition called Evan's Syndrome that destroys her Red Blood-cells and her platelets (her platelet count has been as low as 4 twice in these 3 years). She also has dog-brain...so our most recent visit was an emergency surgery on 12/20/2010 to remove tin from her stomach. Everyone there loves her as if she were their own dog, and she gets star treatment every time she "visits" her friends. Their veterinary internists (Drs. Marsh and Dalby) are the best. She considers Forrest, the internal medicine Vet-tech as one of her people. And of course Cathy, Taylor, and Jonathan are always good for cookies! If we're there when you bring your furry family member in, Reina will greet you and let you know how great this place really is!

Thank goodness for this place!

When my sweet little Yorkie, Chloe, was 9 years old she got very ill. We brought her to AESC and they found several problems; pancreatitis, protein losing enteropathy and pnuemonia a well as the possiblity of blood clots in her lungs. We were beside ourselves as she is the center of our world! She had several stays at the hospital which was extremely difficult, but the knowledge and compassion of the staff helped us through this heartwrenching time. Dr. Marsh along with this team of excellent specialists, doctors and technicians saved our little girl! Even the front desk personnel offered such understanding and support through this difficult time. Most of all, the TLC they gave Chloe was priceless. It has been about a year and a half now and Chloe still has regular check-ups at AESC due to her chronic issues. She actually gets excited and wags her tail when we're there! I'm not sure if we would have been so fortunate anywhere else! I will admit it was costly, but I would sugg

Amazing Care at AMSC

My wife and I have a Chihuahua that has hemophilia (lacks blood clotting agents). So a bump can turn into a life threatening situation. Scottie (the bleeder) is now 8 years old, he wouldn't be that old if it wasn't for the loving and professional care AESC provided. All the staff is personable and cares about the way you pet and your feel. They aren't the typical cookie cutter vet. They take the time to get to know you and your pet. As for Scottie, he is treated like a king. The tech's actually "hold him" while they do their work. Even though he shakes like a leaf in the wind when we have to take him in, I know while he is there he is getting the loving care he needs to keep him in our lives. I would highly recommend AESC to anyone that loves their pets and cares about the service their loved on gets. I want to thank all the staff and AESC for all their loving care for Scottie and all our other Chihuahua's. God Bless you in all that you do.

Outstanding: Pricey But Worth It

My cat developed a severe limp quite suddenly (arthritis), and I took her immediately to this facility. It took 3 hours, cost $700 (plus whatever in future appointments I will make), and yes: they were direct about payment. Also, they were caring to my cat, thorough, and both the veterinarian and support staff were extremely competent and compassionate.I thought highly enough of them to have make an appointment later this week with one of their I.M. specialists, and have had my primary care vet (Purrfect Cat Hospital in Lone Tree--and yes, they are perfect) fax the records. The fact that they are available 24/7 gives me great peace of mind, and it is worth the extra cost (after all, they are maintaining an emergency facility) for their services. By seeking continued chronic care there, my cat will be known to them in case of future emergencies.

If you're looking for the absolute best care....

My beloved Pomeranian, Meiko, was the love of my life. Early in his life, he developed a condition called a collapsing trachea, which is a congenital defect in Toy breeds. When his breathing became compromised, upon the recommendation of my veterinarian, I sought out AESC's expertise. A surgical procedure to open his airway was our only answer for his survival. The care "we" received from AESC was nothing short of exemplary. Everybody from the front desk to the back office, as well as management, cared for both of us - I was a wreck. In the long run, even modern day medicine couldn’t save him, but this is a heartfelt testimony of the services I received from them. In particular, I must thank Dr. Marsh, Dr. Rosenberg, and practice manager Lynae Walker, who worked closely with me. They were incredible to me during one of the worst times in my life. It is without hesitation, that I recommend AESC with the highest of praise for doing an exceptional job from a medical as well as

Professional CARE

In the past 4 years, and as recently as August, 2010, my family (including four-leggeds) has received consistently excellent service at AESC. I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV, but I work in the field of education with teenagers AND their parents. I know how important it is to provide CARE as well as skilled service. You get both at AESC. The staff, from the receptionist to the doctors, have always treated us with patience and respect for our critters. AESC operates out of a state-of-the-art facility, not fancy, just first rate equipment and working space to provide privacy and top notch CARE. When my family pets are suffering, I know where I'm going ... to AESC.

Disgusted

We went in around midnight for our dog. We were the only ones there and it took them 2 hours to prescribe medication for our dog which turned out to make him even sicker than he was. We followed up with our vet 2 days later, and she removed him from all medications, prescribed a new one and now he is completely fine. This emergency room wanted to charge me over $2000.

kudos & thanks to AESC

Over a three year period we had extensive regular interaction with all the staff at Parker's Animal Emergency & Specialty Center. Our female beagle had sudden energy failure and was immediately diagnosed by Dr. Michelle Marsh as having a classic case of IMHA (immune-mediated hemolytic anemia). The transfusion and treatment recommended were very effective and we kept up with medications and appointments religiously. Every time we were at AESC, the staff made a point to help us know what was needed and how to administer meds from pills to injections. Their care of our IMHA beagle went well beyond what most would expect from an emergency vet. We are so grateful to have had three extra years with our little sweetie who enjoyed a very energetic lifestyle - when she wasn't sleeping. Her buddy, a male beagle, tried to keep up with her need for medical attention by blowing out a disc in his back, and so the folks at AESC made a series of excellent recommendations for his treatment as wel
