I have a '72 Camaro that was having transmission problems. I brought it in to Parker Automotive to take a look at and see what needed to be done. They called a little later to let me know that the problem was fixed. It turned out to be something minor (I was worried the transmission needed to be replaced) and very inexpensive. I was very impressed with their staff and quality of work. I have found a place that I trust to work on my Camaro and other cars. EXCELLENT job and highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Parker Automotive. I've found them to be very honest. They really mean what they say about how they don't sell what you don't need. When my car was in for a big problem, they helped me to decide whether I should repair or sell my car. Unbelievably, they recommended selling the aging car rather than pay them for a huge repair bill. Another time, they found a repair that was recommended by someone else was not necessary. It seems like my repair bills are always lower than they used to be when I went somewhere else. Another cool thing is that they will come and pick you up from home or drop you off. That really helps with scheduling for a busy, single, working woman. It's in an old building that's hard to find, so it's nothing fancy. I heard that to find a good shop, look for one that's been around a long time. It they weren't good they wouldn't still be in business.

I have called a week before to schedule an appointment with them. After going, they tell me to wait one hour or so before my car can even be looked at. I decide to come in an hour later. Once my car was in, it took them 2 hours to do an alignment check (so 3 hours total from my appointment time, when it should of taken an hour at most!). On top of waiting way longer than expected, my car smelled like cigarette smoke once I got in, and I do not smoke! My notebook that I had on the passenger seat was on the ground by the foot area, which meant they did not respect my property as they should have. I gave it a 2 star experience because they did the job, but the service and timing was not my cup of tea. It might of just been that day, but my experience was not pleasant at all.
