We mysteriously discovered dark spots on our wood floors. The owner set an appointment to come look, arrived on time, and had both technology and experience with him! The floors could not be salvaged. In less than 4 days he ordered similar wood, but a better quality, and had the old floors removed and the new floors laid. The installation crew was exceptionally hard working and careful of the rest of the house. We could not be more pleased or satisfied with this business. Without hesitation we recommend them highly!

Houston Carpet & Classic Floors did an amazing job at installing the wood floors in the whole house (its a new home), tile in the bathroom floors, counters & kitchen counters & backsplash!!! Beautiful beautiful job! They were very helpful from the moment I walked into the store to "look" at some wood floors. Angela helped me choose the right floors. she really knows her stuff!!!
They don't just sell the flooring they can also install it? GREAT! one stop shop!! She gave me a discount for choosing them as the contractors the crew was neat & courteous, very polite & always on time!

bad experience ! Horrible customer service as I read one of the reviews that had a similar problem with getting a call back ...would never use again... everything that was done had to be re-worked and then in the middle of the job they took my back splash tile that I paid 1/2 down on from my home and said they were not going to complete the job

This company installed hardwood hickory floors, painted our kitchen and living room, and installed porcelain tile in the kitchen and breakfast room. Angie came to the house and helped us make our selections. Everything looks GREAT! Workers were very clean and respectful to my home:) I am very happy with the service and the work! I highly recommend this company.

I just finished doing business with Houston Carpet in Pearland. Cristen the decorator was very helpful and even came to my house before I placed my order to make sure all my selections coordinated with one another. I was very happy with the whole experience.

Houston Carpet just finished my tile flooring in my bathrooms and wood hickory flooring in all my common areas. I LOVE MY NEW FLOORS!!! The girls at the store were very helpful helping me pick out the tile and wood to blend with my paint and accessories. I highly recommend them!

After looking at multiple options for hardwood floors and having great difficulty having a commitment for a final price, it was a relief to find a company which priced their square footage by the installed price. They were up front about the extra costs, i.e.floor leveler. When the product and installers arrived at my house, I noticed that the product was not exactly like the option I had chosed (same name, different thickness). I called and they immediately drove to my house and then were able to reorder and receive the correct product within 24hr. My flooring has been in 4 months and no problems have been noted to date.

First I will say that Houston Carpet & Classic Floors did a great job installing our hardwood floors about 2 years ago (about 7k for 4 rooms and a hallway).



This review is for the lousy customer service I received when trying to order a Mohawk floor cleaner from them. I called to order over the phone and was told it would be ordered and I would receive a call back the next day confirming when the product would be in. I did not receive a call back. I placed two additional calls and spoke with someone (Angy, I think) but never received confirmation the floor cleaner was in. Each time I was told Kristin would have to call me back. I left a voice message on my 3rd follow-up call. Today I called for a 4th time to follow up. I was told Kristin would have to call me when she returned from lunch. I asked for the speaker (again, Angy, I think) to call back since Kristin hasn't been following up with me. I was told that I could call back...or I could order from another company. I asked if this was how they treat their customers . I was told "yes." I asked if this is really how they treat customers who purchased flooring from them. Again, the answer was "yes." I responded by saying I would give them a poor review and would no longer recommend them to friends. (We used this company because we were referred by a friend).



I wish I could give them a good review since they did a good job on our floors, but I no longer can. Today's customer service was appalling (as was the lack of responsiveness over the past 2 weeks). I will be sending them a letter with a copy of the flooring invoice attached to ensure they are aware of the potential business they've lost (we had another 2/3 of the house to go in replacing flooring so potentially another 14k to spend).

This is the first review I have ever taken the time to write, but I wanted to do so because while we were investigating my flooring options we could only find bad reviews on flooring companies. In fact, Houston Carpet & Classic Flooring was one of the few with hardly any reviews at all. We shopped around before deciding to use HCCF to install our new laminate/wood floors, and we even asked them for a list of references to call...all were good. This was a big investment ,and we were concerned about the quality of our finished floors. We were pleasantly surprised not only by the finished floors, but by the friendly and professional service provided by Angy, Cristen and Grant. The best part of the process was that when they gave us our quote...it was turn-key. no hidden extra fees or other issues. In fact, we were surprised that the quote even included the sales tax, which meant they were even more affordable than we thought, as compared to other flooring companies in the area. They were very flexible and worked with me regarding dropping off samples, as well as the fine detail around the fireplace hearth. I waited a while to write this review, we had floors installed in March, but I wanted to make sure we would have no issues. We're very happy.
