This restaurant is overpriced, you cannot get the food the way you want it and the manager is very rude and tries to overcharge customers. It's not worth the experience.

My family and visited Mezas Greek Tavern and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the portions are huge!!! The ambiance was really nice, our waiter was very attentive and the belly dancer was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant !!! I can't wait to go back.... :)

A warning to anyone considering eating at Mezes located on Pines Blvd. in Pembroke Pines: DONT DO IT! We went once and hope this notice helps others avoid a terrible experience of bad food, false advertisement, bad customer service and lies. Our meal was not enjoyable from beginning to end. It started out bad and just got worse. We arrived for the early bird and the manager was annoyed that we didnt order a cocktail at the start of our meal. Throughout the meal he irritatingly kept coming over to us and asking if we wanted anything else in an obvious attempt to get us to order more than just the early bird meals. (By the way, they were $13.95 a piece.) We ordered 3 different entrees: Spanikopita (spinach pie), stuffed peppers, and salmon. Each meal was lousy. The spanikopita tasted like it was purchased from the local grocery frozen food section and reheated. It did not taste homemade and the phillo dough was soggy. The stuffed peppers were filled with rice. There was no meat

The spanikopita tasted like it was purchased from the local grocery frozen food section and reheated. It did not taste homemade and the phillo dough was soggy. The stuffed peppers were filled with rice. There was no meat in them. Also, I prefer my stuffed peppers with a sauce; these had none. These were plain cooked peppers with white rice. The salmon, by nature a flavorful fish, was so bland that I had to season it with salt (which is not kept at the tables), add lemon (which, unlike any other Greek restaurant I?ve been to, was doled out one slice at a time), and add the salad dressing from my salad to it to try and eke out any sort of taste. The early bird dinners came with a beverage. I tried to order a decaffeinated tea but was told they didn?t have any. I decided I would settle for a regular tea but was told I couldn?t have that with the early bird dinner. I could have iced tea if I liked. By this time, the table behind us was also denied tea with their
