It is also low maintenance, comes in an assortment of colors and textures, and is relatively low cost compared to other siding materials. Insulated vinyl siding is fairly new to the market and has a layer of expanded polystyrene foam that provides an insulating value of R-2 to R-6. This will make your home more energy efficient, but it is slightly more costly than regular vinyl siding. Steel siding is made from a rugged galvanized steel construction and delivers excellent strength and impact resistance to keep your home protected from the elements. Specialty siding such as wood shake, shingle, and scallop siding, come in beautiful color choices and will add charm to your homes rustic appeal.

- Residential Pressure WashingComposite materials are becoming increasing popular in decking due to their strength, durability and lack of maintenance. Composite material is manufactured by combining real wood fibers with recycled plastic, or it can strictly be recycled plastic. This produces a material that can withstand the elements and never need to be sanded, painted, or stained. The only maintenance necessary is a thorough pressure washing 1 or 2 times per year to prevent and remove any mold or algae. Composite materials also come in a wide spectrum of colors, textures, and styles to complement your home. It won't rot, splinter, or warp and will last a lifetime. The two main downsides are cost and feel. It is the most expensive decking material and many people do not like the artificial look and feel of it.
