I have used Langert-Netzband occasionally over the years for jewelry supplies, despite their overinflated prices, just for the sake of convenience. My association with them in the beginning started out o.k. - they were courteous and helpful enough - but I have noticed a decline in service over the past couple of years, and I will have to say my experience with them today has insured that I will never go back.



I just called a few minutes ago to get some pricing on jewelry trays and inserts. Their sales person, "Chuck", was extremely ambiguous in his answers to my questions, as if a simple price quote was a heavily-guarded secret. He appeared so affronted and so hesitant to even tell me how many items he had available for immediate purchase (I needed a fairly large quantity within the next hour) that I had to seriously wonder if he was intentionally discouraging the sale. Perhaps he had developed an emotional attachment to these particular jewelry trays and couldn't bear the thought of parting with them. Anyway, I didn't even bother to ask him if they carried another item I needed, as I pretty much decided then and there to seek out another supplier. If this person was so difficult to deal with over the phone, I had no desire whatsoever to meet him face to face.



I quickly went online and found another supplier 4 miles away that were friendly, helpful, priced far below Langert-Netzband, and acted like they actually wanted my business.



My advice? Avoid Langert-Netzband. There are many more suppliers out there that are far better worth your precious time and money.
