Mulch is full of weed seed !!! Worst I ever got in 10 years,it's not the sand organic mulch old owner had and you pay more and get less for a fact !!!!

I stopped by Englert Farms one day while I was driving by. Eric Englert was the man who helped me. He took the time to educate me on all the different types of mulches available. He pointed out to me the differences between their product line compared to others. They really seemed to care about stocking the highest quality materials. I was blown away by the attention that I received! It's rare these days, especially considering the treatment I got at some of the other supply places. I purchased a delivery of high quality mulch, and it was delivered promptly as promised. They even brought it to me on Sunday! Eric told me that they deliver 7 days a week! I was also extremely happy to see all of the other products that they carry. They have different topsoil mixes and this really interesting organic compost!. They actually bag their products from their own bulk stock! I bought a bag of compost for my garden. I was told that there is nothing better that this stuff. Can't wait to see my tomatoes this year! My thanks to Eric down at Englert Farms. You've earned a customer for life! I'm telling all my neighbors! Call or go down to Englert Farms! You will be glad that you did! I sure was.

I am extremely pleased with my experience with Englert. I am a recently divorced Mom and had quite a few questions regarding the bulk mulch. They really helpful and carefully explained the differences between the different mulches they offered. In addition they also advised me on how to prep the new 400 sq foot perennial flower bed I dug. The mulch I purchased is really good quality. The people at Trax challenged me to compare it to their prograde and when I did Englert's was much nicer. I love how the double shred is dark enough that it appears dyed, but since it isn't it is safe for both my kids and the dogs. The delivery guy was really nice, too. I'm very happy I opted to purchase my mulch from Englert.

Dealt with them years ago and wouldn't go back. Have used big boxes for plants, even though they're not the best and are often rootbound, but they have a guarantee and they can fill a space well. When I went there, the person who dealt with me was not very knowledgeable and somewhat defensive. When I read the response to the review, that was the same reaction I received: "We've been in business here for 60 years and we're family-owned." Maybe, but what does that have to do with bad service or a problem. You won't be in business if you don't understand and listen to the people who keep you in business. Very defensive and I just didn't trust them. It's a shame as they are close. But I've had great luck with Hess's in Jefferson. A hike, but the trees and shrubs are great.

They are nothing but nice, I have never had a single problem and I have been going there for roughly 9 years. Every time I go in the service is fast, to the point, and they are very knowledgeable about different techniques when it comes to landscaping. Prices are the best around and they have the most variety.

They did not stand behind the warranty that we were told at the time of purchase. They were also rude when I called to explain the situation involving my shrubs. We would not utilize them again for any purchases, there are too many other great landscape nurseries in the South Hills area.
