- Town Players of Pittsfield, Inc. was founded in 1921. It is the oldest theater in Berkshire County and one of the oldest, continually running, non profit theaters in the country. Town Players of Pittsfield offers three full productions or musical events yearly plus monthly staged readings. The theater's home is at Berkshire Community College, 1350 West St. in Pittsfield. Our full scale productions are held in the beautiful Robert Boland Theater and smaller productions and staged readings in K111 in the same building, Koussevitzky Arts Center.Town Players of Pittsfield, Inc. was founded in 1921.
