Our thermostat and water pump went out in our Chevy Traverse. I called around everywhere for pricing. I found that American Auto Repair had the best prices and great reviews. I spoke to the owner John on the phone and he took time to explain everything to me. I had our vehicle towed to American Auto where they did a wonderful job in the time frame promised. I will make sure to bring any of our vehicle repairs to them again. Thank you John for a great experience!

John was a word of mouth referral a couple of years back and he's done a marvelous job of helping me keep my high mileage vehicles running well. Honest, reliable and doesn't pile on unnecessary work or recommendations.

Dittos on what everyone on here is saying. John was a word-of-mouth referral to me, and I've had at least 4 repairs performed by him now. I am still totally surprised as to how flexible John is with trying to keep the cost of the repair(s) down, to the point where he actually *encourages* you to go online to buy expensive parts,etc. to save $$$. Who ELSE that you've used before does that? My father-in-law owned a reputable shop and even HE never did that! Kudos to John and the crew at AAR!!! Keep up the great work!

I have never been to a repair shop that was more competitive than this one. I also appreciated the frequent updates on the progress of my car and the mechanic's commitment to sticking to his timetable and estimate. I would recommend this place to any and everyone. I now have my whole family taking their cars here.

This place is AWESOME!!! The quality of the work is exceptional, but most importantly they are HONEST!! I have had many bad experiences with other auto places in the area, so much so I became very hesitant to take my car anywhere, opting to have a friend fix it. But after the first time I took my car to american auto I knew I would never again have to worry about who is going to fix my car. i just picked my car up from them a little while ago and I couldn't be happier! I would recommend this place to EVERYONE!

Great garage/maintenance staff, always helpful and honest, and always look to fix problems with the minimum expense to owner. Highly recommended for auto repair!
