1st time customer - great experience all around! The dealer wanted $249 for a wheel alignment. It was $120 at Taylor and they accepted my new customer $50 off coupon, so I only paid $70! Way more efficient than a dealer as well! Easy drop off & pickup. I will use them again!

GROSSLY OVER CHARGED!!!!!



I took my late model BMW to Taylor Company today to have a single Xenon headlight bulb replaced. Much to my surprise I was told the cost for the headlight bulb would be $200.00, and later found the cost for the labor for the approximately 40 minute installation amounted to $74.00. Bruce Taylor claimed the tire and wheel well cover had to be removed to replace the bulb. When I told him that I did not believe a replacement bulb should cost so much he became obviously irritated. I did not want to argue with the man and I reluctantly paid the almost $300.00 bill. Later, I checked online and found that the same OEM replacement bulbs were priced at $49.99.

A reasonable markup for parts is understandable. However, a 400% markup on a light bulb is totally ridiculous and tantamount to just plain greed. Moreover, as illustrated in the video in the above link, it takes all of 5 minutes to replace the light bulb, and it is not necessary to remove the tire and wheel well cover to replace it. At most, this service should have cost no more than $100.00.



All should beware of Taylor Company BMW & MINI Independent Service's practices and gross overcharging for parts and labor. And to you Mr Taylor, nothing less than of a refund for the amount you so grossly overcharged is in order here.

I have been dealing with taylo...

I have been dealing with taylor co. for about a year an a half. My first few visits were ok. but every time i mentioned that there prices were about 10% more then the dealer they would get annal about it. i am very picky about prices and quality. any one who says taylor was cheaper than the dealer has not done their homework. i found that the bmw dealer was much better priced and accommodated my schedule better. taylor often had to keep my car for an extended period of days. i had some good experiences, but probably more negative ones. i expect more form a shop that maintains and repairs the best cars on the planet. and at the dealer i get everything a step above what taylor has been, in price, quality, and respect. savage bmw is just 25 min. form taylor. savage is the new home for my car.

You will not be dissapointed. They gave me great service with a great price. If you want to continue getting ripped off, go to the dealer.

Great service, clean shop, highly recommended

I received a brochure about TaylorCo about a year and a half ago, and I kept it in my bag as I still had my warranty. Now, it was time to start looking for an independent shop.



I have looked at some other shops, and TaylorCo still looked like the best option. I really didn't get any personal references about them, but visiting their facility, and speaking with them on the phone gave me a good feeling.



They are very courteous on the phone, and their customer service is excellent. As a matter of fact, it's better service than I had received at the dealership. Their professionals, and know what they are talking about. They kept me informed of everything going on from the time I dropped off the car until I picked it up. I can't speak to the bill as it was humongous, and since I've always been under warranty, I don't know exactly how much things can cost. But, for the service I received, I think I can live with it.



They guarantee their work, and aren't afraid to ask you to come back to re-visit an issue, at their expense. I haven't had to do that, and hope that I won't, but it's nice to know that they're there in case something happens.



The online site for the vehicle history is very helpful to keep all maintenance records handy.



If you have an out of warranty BMW, give these guys a chance, I think you won't be disappointed. They also have a referral program, which you may be able to save a few more bucks with if you use it.
