Vladimir Fiks, MD, and the team at Advanced Pain Management Center in Portland, Oregon, go steps further. They take the necessary steps to get to the source of the pain so it can be addressed as soon as possible. At Advanced Pain Management Center, the team believes in the therapeutic benefits of treating both physical and mental health during pain recovery. Interdisciplinary therapies, such as physical therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy, are important components in optimizing individualized treatment plans for their patients’ treatment programs. Because they strive to make pain management as and “painless” as much as possible, these services are referred to providers in the same building. Patients from all over the Oregon and Washington area come to Advanced Pain Management Center to seek state-of-the-art interventional pain therapies. Dr. Fiks and his team treat conditions like peripheral neuropathy and spine pain with a wide range of surgical and nonsurgical procedures, from spinal cord stimulation and sacroiliac joint fusion to spinal decompression, spinal injections, and spinal infusion. They’re also highly experienced in regenerative therapies, such as platelet-rich plasma, bone marrow concentrate, and MLS laser therapy. Since opening the doors in 2000, the team at Advanced Pain Management Center has offered a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for their patients. The team speaks Spanish, English, and Russian and respects their patients’ cultures. Whether a patient requires full pain management treatment or simply an evaluation for ongoing care, everyone at the practice is committed to helping patients succeed in to easing and in some cases eliminating pain through individualized treatment plans.
