It is gym is great and I will be coming back often. Right away I noticed the atmosphere was inviting and the staff goes out of their way to be supportive.

I have two boys enrolled at the NWFA. After 4 months they still love going to class and are getting better each time. They also enjoy earning stripes on their belts by doing extra chores around the house.

Some of the staff at NWFA helped train me for the Sub-league tournament recently and without the guidance and knowledge of Shelby, Carl and John I wouldn't have been able to take first place. The staff here is amazing!!!

I joined the Internal Arts program over 7 years ago due to health issues. The training I received improved my health more than I thought it would, and has made my journey easier and more meaningful. I chose NWFA because they teach using a balance of martial and medical applications and are willing to expand on either if asked. I highly recommend this program.

Great organization all around. The whole family enjoys it. Coach Brandon who teaches the Little Ninjas class is so great with all of the children. The class teaches technique with care & patience, stresses the importance of respect and discipline and does it in a fun way that keeps our son engaged. Women's kickboxing coach is amazing! It's a great workout while teaching technique and self-defense tactics. Love it!!

I have been training at NWFA for a year. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about this place, and i would highly recommend it to anyone that is ready to make a commitment to their martial arts training. The instructors are extremely supportive, knowledgeable, and I feel privileged to be able train with them. They are always willing to provide one on one instruction, and are always available to answer questions. The students are welcoming and more than willing to help out new students. They gym has a very relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Again, I would highly recommend this gym and I can't imagine training anywhere else!

I joined NWFA a little over a year ago and it has been the best investment for myself! I have enjoyed the classes and instructors as well as the benefits(both mental and physical). I started out with just the womens kickboxing classes and recently started taking the mixed classes. Russell (womens instructor)is GREAT!! He pushes you to reach your goals and potential. The mixed classes can be a little intimidating to someone who has not done this before but the instructors are patient and go from person to person making sure that they are doing everything correctly. Jeff and Russell are awesome!!!

I train in the Tai Chi classes at Northwest Fighting Arts. Prior to training here I'd done tai chi for a couple of years through community ed classes in my hometown. I thought I had a solid understanding of the form but coming here has opened up whole new worlds of practice. I especially appreciate to Yichuan standing that we do. (something I'd never even heard of before) I feel stronger and healthier than I ever have before after just six months. Word of warning though, come prepared to work hard. Tai chi that I'd done before had always been flowing and relaxing. This is too but I also regularly leave drenched in sweat.

Love this place! The workout kicks me every time. I'm a little intimidating about trying sparring. The guys seem cool about it and encourage me to go for it when I'm ready. Just not sure about getting hit in the head ;)
