My hair was completely DESTROYED by the stylist SIMON HO. I made an appt. with him at Studio B, based on his long-standing, senior stylist status when he was with Dosha. I was in need of only a grey root touch up and was unable to get into my regular stylist at another salon. He suggested a much more costly procedure of lightening my hair a shade as a means of keeping it healthy by avoiding the occasional highlights I would get. I had thick, long, brunette hair, which he turned into orange straw. He then cut it to remove some of the damage. Within days, my hair began breaking off in my hands, turned more orange, and my scalp flaked and burned from inflammation. Simon ignored my phone calls and responded lightheartedly not to worry, it was fine, by email. I finally was able to get him to look at it, he handed me a sample packet of conditioner, refunded my money, and sent me on my way. I spent thousands of dollars and two medical doctor visits to try to heal my scalp and make my hair presentable, to no avail. It had to be cut off, and my scalp has not yet recovered completely. I reached out to Simon once again letting him know the expense and status of my hair and he did not follow up with me. I have taken very good care of my hair my entire life, and in one evening, he destroyed it without any consideration for the outcome or what a woman's hair means to her. I stand behind this review with documentation to support what occurred. I would advise anyone seeking a stylist to look elsewhere and avoid the possibility of of putting trust in a professional who has more regard for the monetary cost of the service than the client's wishes, health, and beauty of their hair.
