The original Bennett's Store in Kennebunk, Maine is a legendary seasonal sandwich shop that has been providing extraordinarily welcoming service, mouth-watering sandwiches, and a family-friendly atmosphere since 1982. Bennett's Store became an institution within the community because we possess the friendliest and welcoming staff, use the most high-quality and freshest produce and meats that are sliced on premise daily and serve our patrons made-to-order and customizable sandwiches on the softest rolls delivered each day. The philosophy of "Quality", "Service", "Value" and "Community" is fundamental to the Bennett's brand. It is a belief that Charlie Bennett, the founder and original owner of Bennett's Store so closely identified with. He would tell you that he was just a regular guy, however, he was anything but. Charlie Bennett's many athletic and professional accomplishments include being inducted into the Maine Baseball and Maine Sports Hall of Fame, serving his fellow Americans in the Navy post World War II, and attending a try-out for the Boston Red Sox.
