The service was very good and they constantly attended our table. But the food was ok, they try to wow you with how it looks but overall there are many other restaurants that have the same quality out there so its nothing very different. The pricing is ridiculous for dinner, for the amount of food you get you need to order a couple appetizers, also they are overpriced and small portions. So if you want food that is on par with many other restaurants out there at an insane price and small portions this is your place.

This place is one of a kind gem. I travel all over the world on business and have yet to find anything close to CAVs perfect blend of ambiance and food. The place is elegant, yet relaxed, the atosphere is amazing. A large and wide variety on the menu, amazing aps, salads, fish, pasta and steaks. Try the Pear Chicken or Tuna. Calamari is the best, I think they pan sear it vs deep fry so heathier too. Makes for a great biz meetings by day (lunch), very romantic by night......lighting almost makes it seem like 2 different places. Also, went to a wedding shower on a Sunday last spring, what a spread they put on in the private back room. You haven't lived until you've tried this place once!

Service was friendly but haphazard. Appetizers took a long time and then the main course arrived before we had finished the appetizers. The food was mediocre. Lack of flavor was overcompensated by excessive butter, cream, and oil.

The most amazing food and atmosphere in the city. A true jewel in the jewelry district. It's casual but very elegant and would make for one of the most romantic or even most professional meeting spots in Providence, RI. From the art to the decor it's ambiance is quite relaxing. The service was also some thing to talk about. I would certainly resomend this fine dine restaurant again and again.
