      Sandman Book Company is an independent, locally owned bookshop in Punta Gorda, Florida. We have been in business since 2006 and we have been located in Turtle Crossing since 2009. Owners Heidi & Scott are Hillsdale College alumni.We strive to create the atmosphere of a classic book shop you might find in an old European town, combined with the modern amenities of the computer age. We have comfy reading chairs and reading nooks scattered throughout the store (Kitty-Wan Kenobi, our resident cat, spends a lot of time in those chairs.)

      Southwest Florida's largest independent bookshop is located in Punta Gorda, on the border of Lee County and Charlotte County, in Turtle Crossing Plaza (just north of Burnt Store Marina). Bookstore cat Kitty-Wan Kenobi presides over an inventory of more than sixty thousand new and used books, audiobooks, DVDs, puzzles, games, toys and greeting cards.

      Sandman Book Company is Southwest Florida's largest independent bookshop. We are located in Turtle Crossing Plaza, north of Burnt Store Marina. We have a vast selection of used & rare books in our retail shop as well as hundreds of thousands more online. We also carry audiobooks, DVDs, toys, games, & greeting cards.
