I have been going to Dr. Goode for over a year and a half now. She is the only Dr. who took the time to listen and figure out what was wrong with me. I haven't felt this good in 16 years and I owe it to Dr. Goode and her wonderful, friendly staff. I do exactly what she tells me to do. You have to take your health into your own hands. It's not cheap and there is no magic pill. We as a society want a fast, cheap fix and there is no such thing. If you are willing to follow her recommendations and make lifestyle changes, you can have your health back. She goes above and beyond to help me and everyone on her staff is friendly and always helpful in any way they can be. I am so thankful to have found a Dr. who thoroughly treats her patients. She will prescribe medicine if you need it, but she strives to create healthy people through lifestyle changes. She does a lot of blood work and testing which I like because it takes the guesswork out of treating the patient. She's amazing!

I have a patient of Dr. Goode's for six years. She has helped me more than any doctor I have ever seen, and I have seen many. If you're looking for a doctor to write a prescription to smash your symptoms, Dr. Goode is the wrong one. On the other hand, if you're looking for someone to identify the roots of your health problems and help you reclaim your health, Dr. Goode is a great choice. She listens and takes as much time with you as required. Yes, there are lots of tests but they are necessary to uncover the hidden issues that most doctors don't look for, or don't have time to pursue. Some tests are not covered by insurance, but many are. And you will be asked to clean up your diet and take supplements. In short, you have to take responsibility for your health. If you're willing to do that, and you understand that reclaiming your health may cost more than an office visit or prescription co-pay, then you're on your way.

I have been a patient of Dr. Goode for 2.5 years. I have rated her 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. She is the most thorough diagnostician that I have encountered since I have moved to Raleigh in 1981. 2. She can think and prescribe systemically. This is incredibly important given the complexity involved with the human body. 3. She listens. Now if you need someone to look at you at all times while she is listening, you might think she doesn't care. Far from it, she has extended herself many times for me and others that I have referred to her practice. 4. She requires from patients to take responsibility for themselves, to ask questions and to systematically and jointly go about finding the solutions. You must be willing to follow the protocols so that consistent information can be gathered. If you are willing to take the time and put forth the effort, you will be greatly rewarded. She has truly earned the title of physician.

Beverly Medical is the place to go if you have money to burn. You will be asked to prepay for your first visit, thereafter your visits will be timed and a kitchen timer will go off every 5 minutes you go over the allotted time- you will be billed an additional fee for each increment of additional time you use. You will pay for the PA or the doctor to listen to you and to record the information on the computer as you speak. The "answers" you receive will be rapidly verbally given, then a "tech" will read to you a printed version. The person who reads the instructions to you does not have the medical background to know what she is reading or even to pronounce the words correctly. You "may submit" your expenses to your own medical provider, however Blue Cross will not reimburse a penny of it. If you forget to ask for a copy of your receipt or of your lab results during your appointment, you will pay $25 a sheet for it. Tests and supplements will multiply your cost- only the beginning!

Specialist services, at reasonable prices! Dr Goode and her P.A. Linda are the best doc's I've seen by far. I suffered from fatigue for over 4 yrs before I got my diagnosis with this practice -- all other Drs wrote me off, saying my thyroid labs were in range, no EBV, no treatment plan or options, etc etc... Until I saw Dr Goode and she discovered the antibodies against my thyroid, and set me up on a plan to repair myself! Needless to say, the vitamins and lab work are well worth the money (and they provide lab discounts for those without insurance). Amazing place, would recommend to anyone looking for answers and holistic treatment!

Beware of Dr. Goode's husband. Very grumpy man with no tolerance for children with special needs. We were sufficiently belittled on one particular visit to the supplement area and will never go back.

Gave me 89 different capsules to take each day. Tore me up. Then it was 500 for lab work. Then she could not see me beacuse she is booked for 6 months out. Told me my lab work was out dated and to pay her another 500 bucks. She is 250 bucks per hour. It is aggravating w to get in then when I did, she shoved me right back out the door with a snide remark. She is a wolf in sheeps clothing save your money. I know there is no help with thyroid issues in mainstream but don't let her fool you! Stay away you have been warned!
