During our last power outage, my stand-by generator was doing just that - STANDING BY - the motor would start and run just fine, but the unit would make no electricity. So, after doing some research on the internet, I decided to take my John Deere generator to Capital Repair Services off of Broad Street near I-64. They took it in with little problem in about 15 minutes, unloaded it from my pick up - and informed me it may be two or three days (weekend) before I could get it back. Well, the next day I got a call - generator fixed, all is well. I went directly over to their shop and picked it up. The price was less than I had thought it would be (under $100) and it was repaired in one day. These people are absolutely great at their job and I will use them ANY TIME NEEDED IN THE FUTURE. Hard to Find, But Worth It! It's tucked in behind the Duron paint shop, and hard to find, but well worth finding. They quickly fixed my Craftsman riding mower (turned out had a compression problem), at a reasonable price (less than $100). Very happy with the entire end to end transaction. They even took the time to have the mechanic explain to me the problem and how he fixed it. Great folks;I highly recommend their services.

I found the closest place to me and took my chainsaw in to Capital get it looked at. The cord would not pull. They charged $30 upfront to even look at it, which is red flag right there. They could not tell me exactly what was wrong. They just said that it was not worth fixing, as if it was their decision to make. They did not put the saw back together either, just put some of the parts in box. Very unprofessional, and I would not recommend.

I purchased a riding lawn mower from lowes. It was one of those end of the season specials. I got a great deal on it because it needed some work.
