Provided by YP.comI am a former student of IMT and a client. As a massage therapist of 5 years, I can truthfully say that in my years of experience and meeting other MT's that went to other schools, or had been grandfathered in (to licensure) I really am confident with my knowledge of massage therapy. I have had other MT's at my senior tell me one thing, I know it would be wrong and I could prove it with books, research or technique. I feel I have been tought the best, by the best and the Owner, Pam, teaches and takes much pride in her school/clinic. She has a standard that she sets and continues to meet it by pumping out outstanding students! I have had questions over the years when I wasn't sure of massage laws, how to help clients or being challenged by other MT's for knowledge, and she has always been there for me by phone or email. I've even physically hurt myself a couple times and she has either personally helped me or set me up with one of her therapists in the clinic that helps me. I have had many many massages by different MT's and I always continue to return to her clinic for the knowledgeable therapists she hires and her standards of practice that are so strict. One other time when I was in school first learning massage therapy my mother was experiencing pain that was just getting worse and the chiropractor couldn't help. She visited IMT several times and after about 3 visits Pam told her that she was more than welcome to continue to come back, but with the pain she was experiencing she should be feeling relief, not getting worse. She urged my mom to insist her Dr.'s do tests until the problem is found, because she felt there was something worse going on. 3 months later a tumor was found in her hip wrapped around her sciatic nerve. That tumor ended up being one of many that started her battle with stage 4 cancer. Pam was the only person who was honest with my mom and truly concerned for her wellbeing.
I would highly reccomend her to anyone, her school or her clinic. I follow these standards because I am proud of my school and teachings. She is an amazing person and it eminates throughout her business!
