Gave Short Pump Towing a ring tonight, 2nd of August, when our evening plans were interrupted by our Jeep giving 'way. Couldn't have been happier with our experience. Matt was wonderful and, though I do hope to never again require a tow, I wouldn't think of taking my business elsewhere. My mother spoke to Matt, who said he was the owner, & he told my mom that my car they towed out of a ditch wasn't drivable & she asked why & he said there was damage to the front.My mom said "it was drivable when my daughter left it" & he yelled at her saying the towing company isnt responsible for any damages.Then he started screaming at her telling her she was "crazy!!!!!". So I grabbed the phone and said a few words. He hung up on me. Then the guy charged us $600 to tow my car, which we got quoted at another place & it should have been around $300.Oh & the company charged us TWICE & when we called & told them they said they didn't do it.I told the guy we have a picture of the bank statement and he said it must be your credit card company.I called state police & BBB Serving Central VA to try & get them off the rotating list.Oh & the damage he claimed made my car undrivable was from a hit and run in the parking lot but only put a dent in the front end. It drove fine. What an idiot!!!!
