Its projects involve specialized fabrication and machining processes, which include high volume output of weldments, machined components of assemblies. In addition to new equipment manufacture, the company provides overhaul and rehabilitation services for firms needing repair or replacement of production machinery and fixtures. International Engineering s corporate offices and production facilities are located on 116 acres in suburban Kansas City, Mo. Its Missouri plants are equipped to receive and ship by truck, rail, or barge. A proprietary fleet of rail cars, combined with a 150-ton stiffleg crane at the dock facility, gives the company the unique ability to handle large or heavy components. Shop gantry cranes up to 120-ton capacity, and various mobile cranes augment Intercon's extensive material handling capability.
