When I called the lady that answered the phone was very impaitent. I decided to check the review it confirm simliar experiences. The first impression is good for me. Cunsumer Beware.

First, the Mrs., who "mans" the desk and phone, is nice at first, garnering your business. But subsequent calls during and after service were increasingly rude and abusive, and ended with hangups and refusal to answer at all! Because I wanted a minute to ask her husband or mechanic a question about the bill???

Then -- their service. I had an engine replaced. They charged me $80 for the oil as a last minute add-in! For oil??? So that was my question. They refused to answer!

The main thing though - since then, the engine they put in has been a piece of crap, and now I suspect them of installing an inferior engine. They offered me two engine choices. I chose the more expensive one, with 100,000 miles less than the cheap one at 170,000. It performs worse than the original ever did at 140,000. And they don't answer my calls...

reviews are false half the review are from their friends and the lady who works the desk is rude has no manners and i could say more they left 2 bolts off my alternator that another mechanic found unprofessional

I had my car towed to Advanced Auto air after a transmission line started leaking. I paid $75 to have it "repaired" (the only option I was given). I also said the car was vibrating at idle and thought it might be a motor or transmission mount. The mechanic replaced the transmission mount but said it didn't fix it and would require the flywheel to be balanced (flywheel on an automatic?), a cost of $300+. He also told me that the car had a harmonic balancer added; probably because of the vibrating. This car comes with a harmonic balancer from the factory! 5 month later the transmission started leaking again. I took it to a different mechanic this time. Come to find out, the transmission line "repair" involved reconnecting and clamping the rubber line. The line really needed to be replaced and this was not told to me. On top of that, the transmission mount that I paid to be replaced had never been replaced, it was ripped in half. I called Advanced auto air to resolve this and I was met with a bad attitude from the receptionist. When I protested that she hung up on me. I tried to call back and just kept getting hung up on. Finally I was able to leave a message stating I would be contacting the BBB. Three minutes later they called me back trying to defend themselves. They said the transmission mount must have gone bad and its under warranty. There is no way a properly installed transmission mount can rip down the side in 5 months, 5000 miles of highway driving later. When I asked to explain my story I was allowed about 5 minutes before I was told "you lost your mind, you do what you gotta do" and was hung up on. It's very sad that a local business wont even let me explain my whole story or make any attempt to make it right. Hopefully I will get somewhere with the better business bureau. BEWARE! If you read all the review on the internet, there are claims that the good reviews are from friends. Look close at the bad reviews and prepare yourself of you decide to use Advance auto air.

I can depend on Rick to give me an honest assessment of any problems, charge me a very competitive price for repairs, advise me on the necessity of work that actually needs to be done if oil change businesses tell me I need work on my car and check out my car to be road trip ready for driving long distances. I had an oil leak that he fixed and my car now uses no oil between oil changes. I have had air conditioning problems and have never had to go to a great expense in fixing them, because Rick has always told me the truth. Being a single woman, it is wonderful to find an honest businessman to rely upon in the car repair business.

Very good experience! They fixed my car quickly, and the price was way less than I was quoted at another place. It's so nice to know there is actually an auto shop around that is honest and isn't trying to rip me off. I referred a few other people to them with the same results. Next time I have a problem, I will def be back.

failed to replace the ac belt as part of a $1100 ac repair...said that the belt looked ok. Mazda recommends always replacing the belt...never reuse it! (it's a $35 belt - why would you not replace it?) but rick knows better. two weeks later the ac belt is squeaking and rick wants me to pay parts and labor to replace it. I can understand paying for the part...but I already paid him for the labor...it should have been replaced when the repair was made. this is the second car in the last year that i had repaired there...spent over $2000 with them...they were so appreciative of my business that they would not eat the 1/2 labor to install the new belt...how much do they value your business?
