I went to Menards yesterday, Sunday, May 6th. at 10:30 am for a quick shopping to buy 4 small items, which it took me 5 minutes in the store, but it took me 20 minutes in line to pay for it. Every one of the 4 cashiers available has a line consisting of about 5 people and many of them with the cart full or half full. I explained the frustration to the lady standing by who said, they do not have enough cashier, which I replied it is a Poor Business Operating Procedure. At least it should have one cashier for customer with fewer than 10 items to allow customers with few items not to get stock behind with carts after carts loaded with construction items. Don't go to Menards in Rochester if you do not have time to waste just to pay.

I was at Menards on 8/25/14 to look for a par for my patio screen door. I walked around for more than 20 minutes looking for someone to help me. When I did find someone they knew nothing of what I was talking about or where to refer me. So, I finally became frustrated and left. I went to Home Depot and was helped right away.

We usually enjoy shopping at this Menards. However, when we were looking at purchasing light fixtures last Saturday, two employees in the area didn't even talk to us and then they left the area while we were there. It was obvious what we were looking at and walked right past them a couple times in the process. Therefore, we left the store, went to another store and purchased over $900 worth of light fixtures. Too bad for Menards, unless they didn't want our money.
