      The Mobile Veterinary Practice provides end of life care in Rockford, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Rockton, Roscoe, Byron, Belvidere and surrounding areas. End of life care in the veterinary field can be defined as the services we can offer our pets when they are no longer enjoying the quality of life they deserve. It can range from an examination to help determine their quality of life, to discussion of after care options, to assisting with the decision to end their suffering through a peaceful passing. Dr. Beth Christensen has been practicing veterinary care for over thirty years here in the Rockford and surrounding areas. For over 20 of those years she has specialized in veterinary care in the home environment. At home veterinary appointments are especially useful for our pets during end of life care. When your pet is no longer experiencing a good quality of life, Mobile Veterinary Practice will come right to your home where your pet is comfortable, eliminating the need for a stressful car ride to the veterinarians office. At home end of life care is also important for the pet's guardians, as they are able to grieve in the comfort of their own home with their family close by. House calls allow us to tailor each appointment to the pet and clients specific needs and provide compassionate one on one care for beloved pets. We believe the path to healing after the loss of such a special friend is also important, and we have information and resources available to help you and your family deal with your loss.
