- Emergency CareWhen you get emergency care or get treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center, you are protected from surprise billing or balance billing.
- GlaucomaThere are many different types of glaucoma that can result in optic nerve damage. Increased fluid build-up inside the eye (increased intraocular pressure) is an important risk factor for the development of glaucoma. The optic nerve acts as a channel to relay messages to the brain. As the optic nerve deteriorates, you will begin to lose peripheral (side) vision first.

- CataractsA cataract is any cloudiness or opacity of the natural lens of the eye due to natural protein build-up that prevents the light rays from passing through the lens normally. A cataract causes light to be scattered inside the eye. This results in symptoms of glare and blurred vision. Cataracts generally progress very slowly over time resulting in gradual loss of vision. There are different types of cataracts, but the most common form that typically occurs in older people is a yellowish-brown discoloration of the lens that causes a change in color perception as well as blurred vision.
- Cataract Surgery"I've worn glasses for quite a few years now. I was having problems at night driving with the headlight glare, and also seeing road signs. I found that at BoozmanHof the staff and the doctors were very professional, they were very friendly. My vision after cataract surgery has greatly improved. Reading the computer, I didn't have any distortion anymore. Driving at night was much clearer."

These providers can’t balance bill you and may not ask you to give up your protections not to be balance billed.
