- NeurologyDr. Corey Brink is certified in both general (adult) psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Here in the United States it is not required that psychiatrists become board certified to practice psychiatry. As well as Dr. Brink passing both child and general board certifications, he has since passed both board re-certifications as well under the direction of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Additionally, he is board certified through the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.

It is also normal to feel disorganized, absentminded and preoccupied as a result, but when you are constantly forgetful or inattentive, or experience impulsiveness and hyperactivity to the point that you become ineffective and unproductive in your work, school and personal relationships, then you might be struggling with attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder.

- Mental HealthDr. Brink has been in private practice since 1996, in both Stockton and Sacramento. In the early years as Dr. Brink was building his practice he also worked part-time at the Sacramento Children’s Home, Med-Clinic HMO of Sacramento, and San Joaquin County Mental Health, Lodi office. Additionally, from 2000-2014, Dr. Brink worked at the University of the Pacific – Cowell Wellness Center, seeing UOP students, and also doing some teaching and consultation to the health center staff. As noted, a psychiatrist Stockton doctor such as Corey Brink has added value to our community for over 20 years.
- PsychiatryDr. Brink completed medical school at the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School, now known as Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/The Chicago Medical School. Following medical school Dr. Brink completed a four year residency program in general psychiatry at Northwestern University – Evanston Hospital campus. Subsequent to residency training, Dr. Brink entered into a two year child and adolescent fellowship program at the University of California, Davis, Medical Center in Sacramento, CA.
