I am very disappointed with this recruiting office. When my son decided he wanted to go into the Navy, we were referred to this office. In the beginning, the officer we worked with was very eager and appeared to be happy to have my son join the Navy. We received calls/texts from the recruiter often to check on us. We were very excited and was happy to be working with this officer. All was fine up until medical history came up. So we honestly reported everything. However, when it came to our communication with the officer, there was NONE unless we contacted her. It was really strange because there was lots before this. We would call/text the officer and sometimes there would be days later before we would get a response and sometimes we had to reach out again. In our eyes, the attitude was, "Okay, you are not going to get in the Navy, so forget about you and on to the next." This is very disappointing! I then spoke with the chief (Haynes) over the office and I was told that we would hear something back and its been weeks. I reached out about 3 weeks ago and was told there wasn't an update. I really feel as if this site has poor communication. I feel as if the original office should have kept contact with us. If the Navy doctors decided that my son was not fit for the Navy, I have no issue with being told that. Our issue is the lack of communication from this office. We did everything asked and provided all documents required and I feel we have been treated poorly. I would not recommend this office to anyone.
