I graduated from St Joseph Beauty University in 1983 when Mr. Gilchrest was the owner. It was ok but....I had a hell of a time getting a job when I finished, and had to do my own business, and one instructor named DEBBIE was a bitch! She was just awful!! If you didn't do something right she would yell at you. Not Cool. I finally finished RN School, worked part time as a hair dresser at a care home, and still do. I plan to go for my instructor's license. I have many memories of this school...some good, some not so good.

I was seen as a walk in. My hair was long. I wanted it short. The student who took care of me was friendly, paid attention to what I wanted, took her time and did a great job. I am going to keep going back for trims and anything else i might want done.
