We currently have 2 children at this school and they both love it. We have found the teachers very dedicated and invested in the education of our children.

We love Assumption Parish School. It has caring teachers and staff and multiple family oriented activities. The education my child is receiving, I have no doubt, well help her succeed into and beyond adulthood. She loves going to school every day.

Posted today Report it We LOVE Assumption School! We currently have one child there, and will have another entering kindergarten next year. I have to tell you, it was a very hard decision on public vs. private school. We live in an excellent public school district. After touring the school, I was sold on Assumption and still am! When I toured, everyone was so friendly! I even had students passing me in the halls, who had no idea who I was, stop and say hello! That was impressive! I toured several other schools and the students would not even look at me. After being at Assumption, I understand why the children are so happy and outgoing! Great friends, great academics, teachers who care, a wonderful community, student self respect and respect for others, an outstanding athletic program, and teaching the Christian way!! The sacrifice of private tuition at Assumption is worth it to our family! Submitted by a parent

We have two children in this school and we have had nothing but positive experiences. Communication between parents and teachers is great and everyone is invested in the education of the children. If you are looking for a private school in the South County area, I would encourage you to check out Assumption.

We have been a part of the parish and school for 6 years now. We have 2 children currently enrolled and have loved every minute of it. Our children have made lasting friendships and we have also. Both of my children have been challenged and excel in all subjects. We are very happy to be a part of this community!

Assumption Parish School has been a great fit for our family. As an alum of the school, it was exciting to be able to send my children here too and see some friendly faces around the school and church community. The individualized attention is great and the other children and parents in our kids classes are wonderful. We all work together for our kids. We are blessed to feel truly a part of the community here and are very involved, from sports to choir to scouting events. The teachers know the kids well and have challenging and creative ways for them to learn what they need to know to be successful. Beyond academics, the children learn to be kind and responsible and to care for others. Plus, classes are enhanced by everything from smart boards in all classrooms to a pottery wheel in art to new microscopes for upper-level science courses. I'd highly recommend it!

My prek child loves the 8th grade teacher Mrs. Bender and the connection between her class and the 8th grade. Mrs. Bender makes my child feel welcome by using humor with love and compassion.

We have 2 children who attend Assumption Parish School. We are very happy with the education they are getting. They, both love school and do very well. They have a lot of friends at the school. I help at the school a lot and I see the school from the inside. I see very caring and kind teachers, who teacher and challenge the kids. They do a lot of hands on learning. Parents are encouraged to come to a lot of different activities through out the school year. The children (especially the younger children) are proud to see their parents at the school. Assumption promotes kindness in the school. There are a lot of extra curriculum activities after school. My husband and I are very pleased with Assumption Parish School. My daughter is now in third grade and we have attended Assumption since Kindergarten. We have found the teachers to be very dedicated to the students and when we needed special help with our daughter who was diagnosed with ADHD, they were wonderful. She is now getting straight A's and thriving because of the time and effort of the teachers and counselors there. It's like a personal family. Their efforts have made me want to be more a part of things to give back and I volunteer quite a bit. Is the school perfect..no, but no school is. If you are looking for a good education for your student with caring faculty, this is the place to be.

Not real found of the parish not listening to its parishioners. We have been given orders to change a team name due to a one sided letter from a parent on another team during a soccer game at Vetta. Its funny how they can take advise from a letter then not hear any type of a rebuttal from the team\parishoners. Then smile as they say change the name of the team. Where do they get their money from. We would never promote violence and most of the time we are too busy socializing. I am upset, as many are from the team. Talk to the parents first before you make a one sided ruling. Your decision for us to change our team name was wrong. The team we plays was rough and nasty, the parents made negative remarks but that was probably not in the letter. I am sure they made it sound as if their team were a bunch of saints. There are two sides to every story. But ours was never opened. Upset parishioner!
