Van Pelt Contracting in St. Louis did a wonderful job on my roof and even fixing the areas that were needing repair due to horrible wood rot. We got quite a few quotes from other reputable Saint Louis companies and all of them were about the same. But what separated Van Pelt Contracting from the rest was the confidence I felt after meeting with our contractor and the wealth of information we received on what was going to be needed and what was gooing to happen to our roof and our home as a whole. There was a bit of hand-holding and assurance that despite having people crawling around our roof, it really wasn't going to interfere with our day to day life, which was completely the case. Adam was able to give us a very reasonable quote for the job. We had him completely tear down our brick fireplace and replace it with a brand new wood and stone surround. We LOVE how it turned out. I would definitely recommended him to anyone looking for any kind of carpentry work, he is so talented!



On top of the fantastic work he does, he was also very careful to keep the construction area clean throughout the project. And he was always courteous and always on time.
