      General Info
      North Shore Cardiovascular Associates provides compassionate, comprehensive, cardiac care from disease prevention and management, including acute care, to long-term follow up. We are the largest cardiovascular practice on the North Shore and our 15 physicians are all board-certified with many years of experience. Our combined expertise includes Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiac Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Medicine. Read more about our services. A major focus of our practice is the prevention and treatment of heart disease. We commonly treat patients with coronary artery disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, heart failure, arrhythmias, heart valve disease, vascular disease, conditions that require anticoagulation, adult congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, smoking cessation, and weight management concerns. We provide consultation on a full spectrum of cardiovascular issues from cardiac risk assessments to invasive procedures. We also work closely with our on-site cardiothoracic surgeons for those patients who require cardiac surgery. All of our hospital care is provided by a team of skilled medical staff at the North Shore Medical Center, both Salem and Union campus. All of our physicians are Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Many of our physicians are also Board Certified in sub-specialty areas. Our doctors are fully credentialed by Partners HealthCare, North Shore Medical Center, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Read more about our physicians. North Shore Cardiovascular Associates provide cardiovascular testing at our outpatient testing laboratory located in the outpatient office at 331 Highland Ave in Salem. North Shore Cardiovascular Associates Diagnostic Center at 331 Highland Avenue are both ICAVL and ICANL certified. ICAVL accreditation is a voluntary process which is dedicated to promoting high quality noninvasive vascular diagnostic testing in the delivery of health care by providing a peer review process of laboratory accreditation.
