Boatwright Engineering, Inc. is a local, family-owned company that was established in Salem, Oregon in 1943 by G.R. Boatwright, PE. Under the management of G.R. Boatwright, followed by his son, Martin G. Boatwright, PE, LS and, currently, his grandson, Corbey Boatwright PE, LS, CWRE, the company has provided engineering, surveying and water right services to the northwest quarter of Oregon; primarily the Willamette Valley and the central and northern Oregon coast area. Clients have included: federal, state, county and municipal governments, non-profit water associations and cooperatives, public and private schools and universities, service districts, farmers, large and small commercial developers, and private individuals. Projects have included: community water systems, community sewer systems, residential subdivisions, storm drainage management, dams, student housing, sports fields, roadways, reservoirs, retail development and water rights. On many occasions we have worked with architectural firms to provide the preliminary site data and the design of civil aspects for college developments, including those at Western Oregon University, Oregon State University, Linfield College, Willamette University, Corban University and Chemeketa Community College. We maintain close working relationships with those jurisdictions that oversee and issue permits for construction projects, such as DEQ, Oregon Health Division, Water Resources Departments, various County and City Public Works Departments and Building Departments.
