Went in to get a loan on my laptop last week, they were able to beat the first shop I went to and were quick and friendly. Will be visiting them again if I need to do another loan.

I just want to thanks the employees at this pawn for being so lazy. I went in about 15 mins until they closed with a 14k gold bracelet found in the ground metal detecting. As soon as went in it was apparent they did not really want to deal with me afraid of having to do more paper work or writing up another ticket. So I was not really sure if it was real or not being in the ground for so long it looked really weathered. I simply took it there to see if it was real or not. Well I handed it to one guy and he quickly passed it to another guy so he did not have to deal with it. The guy quickly said its not real because it was really dirty. I asked him to test it anyways and he looked like he would have rather died then test it. So I insisted, he took a deep breath and went over to the acid testing area. I was watching him closely because I know how the tests are done having a few kits in my past. Well He really must think everyone in the world is stupid or something he scratched the the stone with the bracelet, and then took the acid and never even opened the top of the bottle, and to beat all that i had a clear view leaning in and clearly saw no acid came out of the bottle. So I just want to thank you for being so lazy because I might have sold it to you if you would have done the test. I found out today having purchased me another kit of my own and taking it to a real jewelery store it in fact was 14k yellow gold (15 grams). If you want to get misled and ripped off by all means go do business at this pawn shop.

AVERAGE TYPICAL PAWNSHOP ! OK ITEMS SOMETIMES , NOT VERY FRIENDLY OR KNOWLEGABLE ON MERCHANDISE , OVERPRICED AS MOST SHOPS ARE ! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LIBERTY PAWN THEY ARE THE PAWNSTARS OF SAN ANTONIO FOR THEY HAVE PROOF ON THERE WALLS !
